Dispatches from the Front will fuel your faith

Some resources come along that I wish I could get into the hands of every person in my church. Dispatches from the Front is one of those. It’s eight DVD episodes of about an hour each, in which Tim Keesee, Executive Director of Frontline Missions International, travels to some of the far-flung corners of the globe to see what God is doing there. The DVD episodes are simple, understated, biblically robust, elegantly written, and beautifully produced. And they will fuel your faith in a global God with great big purposes, a God who is winning worshipers for his Name from every tongue, tribe, people, and nation. Emma and I have used date nights to watch these DVDs together and then pray about what we’ve seen. We’ve been stirred by the suffering and faithfulness of believers around the world and by the greatness of the God we serve.

Here’s a preview of the most recently released DVD, the episode about China.

If you’re interested in buying some or all of the eight episodes, the Westminster Theological Seminary bookstore has a great price on them here.
