We had so much fun as a church this past weekend, loving our community together.
The July 4 parade is always a big deal in Pepperell, and it was great to have a float in the parade, letting people know about Vacation Bible School at PCF on July 20-24 and our free Hope Haitian Choir concert at the Pepperell town field on Friday, August 14. Participating in the parade is our church’s way of expressing our joy at being part of the larger community and having fun together with them on a day everyone enjoys.
On Sunday, July 5 we had our first-ever PCF Service Sunday. After one joint worship service at 8.30am, six work teams flooded out into the community in blue PCF t-shirts, cleaning up the parade route from the day before, serving two elderly couples with yard work, beautifying the park by the Pepperell covered bridge, and restoring the town field to order after the fireworks the previous night. Then we all came back to the church for a cookout together.
We’re thankful for Pepperell and the surrounding towns. It’s good to be where we are, and we want to overflow blessing to those around us.
