PCF Ministries
We believe that ministering to our neighbors, both in the church and in our community, is a critical component of our faith. Greeters
“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various parts” 1 Peter 4:10
Description: As ministries go, greeting does not require a lot of time and the time involved is during a time when you would be at church already. The basic tasks associated with this ministry are welcoming worshipers as they enter the sanctuary on Sunday mornings by arriving 15 minutes prior to the beginning of our worship service; standing at the front entrance of the sanctuary and welcoming those who come; handing out bulletins, introducing yourself, as you are able, to those you do not know; and responding to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Opportunities: We always welcome those looking to become a part of a ministry here at PCF. Greeting is a great way to begin serving within the body without becoming overwhelmed, as well as a great opportunity for you to meet the “old timers” and those new to the body.

Prayer Ministry
Description: “Therefore let everyone who is godly offer prayer to you at a time when you may be found.” (Psalm 32:6a) We believe that God desires to make Himself manifest to his people by honoring His Word in answered prayer. We also believe that as we spend time in God’s Word we will be better able to understand his will and can then claim the promise of 1 John 5:14-15: “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what we asked of Him.” Prayer undergirds all that happens here at PCF. Come, and be a part of the team!
Opportunities:
- Third Monday of the month, 6:30 to 7:30 PM: The Elders invite all to join them in prayer at the church. li>
- Thursdays, 9:30 to 11 AM: A small group meets at the church. li>
- Sundays, 9:00–10:15 AM: A small group meets before worship. li>

- Email Prayer Chain and Sunday Bulletin: Requests are distributed to the prayer chain and also printed in the Sunday bulletin. The contacts are listed in the bulletin. li>
