Praise God for the Evangelical Congregational Church of Dunstable

I praise God for the faithful witness of the Evangelical Congregational Church of Dunstable . It is a great privilege to be partners in ministry with such a gospel-centered church. I spoke last night at their Sunday evening service on the call of Jesus and the New Testament writers for Christians to wait for the return of Jesus. This theme of waiting for Jesus – patient, expectant, productive waiting – has been percolating in my mind and heart for a good long time now, and it was great fun to preach it. I’m thankful for my friend Rich Woodward, the pastor at Dunstable, and for the many Christ-loving followers of Jesus there. May God prosper their work.
