I praise God for his goodness in bringing us to the first Sunday gathering of Christ Church Townsend, on January 1, 2023! As I look at the photos of that gathering, I see people I love and admire, committed to doing the exciting and hard work of forming a new church, for the sake of displaying God’s worth in Townsend and surrounding communities. May the triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – be honored among this group. May they experience the great joy of being empowered by Christ to do the work he’s commissioned them to do (1 Timothy 1.12-17).
