Wow, am I ever excited about this new book coming out from Crossway in early 2026. It’s been a passion project for me. George Herbert has helped me grow as a follower of Christ, and it seems almost too good to be true that God allowed me time to work on this project (thanks to the vision and generosity of the PCF elders and the kindness of my wife) and provided a great Christian publisher (Crossway) willing to hone the content and make the book absolutely beautiful. I pray that this volume will invite people into the beauty and blessing of poetry (and George Herbert’s poetry, in particular) and – more importantly – will draw people closer to Christ.
