Sunday, August 27 was a very special day for Pepperell Christian Fellowship and Christ Church Townsend. In an afternoon service (during which we had pouring rain and then brilliant sunshine) we baptized nine people after hearing their testimonies of how God has saved them through Jesus Christ and what it means for them to follow him now. I praise God for drawing each of these people to his Son, and I celebrate the willingness of these nine to publicly profess their faith in Jesus Christ. May God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – grant new life to more and more people in our region, and allow us to baptize them in his name and for his glory.
