Advent is a time of waiting and a time of cultivating our understanding of, and joy in, the coming of Jesus from Heaven to this world. Let’s seize the opportunity this season provides to deepen our understanding of what the Bible teaches about the first Christmas. I’ve been helped and encouraged this year as I’ve read through Tim Keller’s excellent book Hidden Christmas, and I strongly recommend it as an insightful, exciting, illuminating discussion of Christ’s coming into the world.
