Men’s Canoe Trip – June 17th

What: We are going to paddle up the Nashua River to explore the Dead River and Squannacook River with a gentle float back to our starting point.

Who: All men and young men are welcome to come to this event.

Where: We will meet at Nashoba Paddlers at 398 West Main Street, Groton, MA 01450 (next to Groton Nursery)

When: Saturday, 17Jun2023 at 10:00 am likely returning between 1-2 pm.

Prerequisites: Everyone will be required to wear a lifejacket at all times, that said, being able to swim is a prerequisite. This is a flat water trip, and we will teach you all the paddling skills you will need.

Cost: The cost is $54 per canoe (2 people per canoe) or $27 per person (sharing with another). Alternatively, if you bring your own canoe the fee is $10. If you bring a canoe, each person must have their own lifejacket.

What to Bring: Bring a bag lunch, water to drink, water shoes, shorts, hat, sunscreen, and bug repellent.

Paperwork: Everyone needs a signed release form to participate. You can download the form here.
