I got to travel to Maine recently to speak at the Gospel Alliance of Maine conference in Vassalboro, and came away very encouraged by what God is doing in the State of Maine. I heard of how churches are serving one another, young people are being trained and discipled and prepared for ministry, and new churches are being planted. I spoke with a guy who has been a pastor for 30 years and another guy who is just starting out in ministry. It was thrilling to see people who were excited to give their Saturday morning to connecting with other believers for the sake of gospel partnership. It was especially sweet for me to get to take along our son Henry and enjoy all that together with him.
