While spending time with Emma’s family in Northern Ireland recently, we worshipped God with the good folks at Gilnahirk Baptist Church and experienced clear, biblical preaching, warm fellowship, and excellent singing. One of the songs we heard for the first time was Jesus Strong and Kind. I love this song. It’s so simple and reverent. And the beautiful gospel twist is that, halfway through, it moves from saying that we should come to Jesus and proclaims that on the cross, Jesus came to us. Listen and worship!
